Feather Edge Cladding
Feather edge cladding is normally associated with fencing but can also be utilised in cladding timber framed buildings. When cladding they are sometimes referred to as weather board or close board.
The depth depends on individual requirements but can be produced from 19mm up to 25mm. Board widths can be from 150mm up to 320mm, planed & treated.

Softwoods: Western Red Cedar – Larch – Douglas Fir – Other lower grade softwoods

o UK Larch – Class 3 – Moderately Durable (10 to 15 years)
o Douglas Fir – Class 3 – Moderately Durable (10 to 15 years)
o UK Western Red Cedar – Class 2 to 3 – Moderately Durable (15 to 20 years)
o English/European Oak – Class 2 – Durable (15 to 25 years)
o Sweet Chestnut – Class 2 – Durable (15 to 25 years)
