Shiplap – Cladding
Shiplap timber cladding is the ideal cladding for all exterior buildings such as sheds, cabins, summerhouses & wood stores. Shiplap cladding has a tight seal which stops water penetration.
Below are the standard board sizing’s we offer or we can mill cladding to your own specification.

Softwoods: Western Red Cedar – Larch – Douglas Fir – Other lower grade softwoods
Durability
o UK Larch – Class 3 – Moderately Durable (10 to 15 years)
o Douglas Fir – Class 3 – Moderately Durable (10 to 15 years)
o UK Western Red Cedar – Class 2 to 3 – Moderately Durable (15 to 20 years)
o English/European Oak – Class 2 – Durable (15 to 25 years)
o Sweet Chestnut – Class 2 – Durable (15 to 25 years)
