Thermo Radiata Cladding
Thermowood Radiata Pine undergoes a thermal modification process that enhances its colour and texture. Compared to untreated Radiata, the thermal treatment gives the wood a deeper and more uniform brown tone, often with subtle variations. The treatment accentuates the natural grain of the pine, providing an elegant and textured appearance. This creates a refined and visually appealing cladding option suitable for various design aesthetics.
The thermal treatment also improves the texture, giving the wood a smooth and polished feel, making it an excellent choice for both indoor and outdoor applications as well as saunas.
Treatment:
You do not need to apply any treatment to the timber as it is naturally durable.
Naturally the UV light will age the timber, if you want to slow down the effects we recommend the following products:
- Holzol exterior clear weather oil
- Rubio Monocoat DuroGrit
