- Purchases – we require payment before cutting your order. Once payment is made it confirms your order and we will begin to process it.
- Timber Grading – We offer various timber grades (construction, fencing & sleeper A/B) which is graded by our in house milling team. For construction graded timber we do allow some knots as long as they as solid, wane is not allowed, 20% sap wood is allowed. For English Oak/Sweet Chestnut if wood worm holes are visible after milling the timber is treated with a 2 part chemical treatment (3-iodo-2-propynyl butylcarbamate (IPBC) & permethrin (ISO)) to kill any live worm. We aim to keep this to a minimum but worm holes are sometimes part of English hardwood timbers and acepted in the grading process. The worm holes do not effect the structural integrity of the timber.
- Woodland Mulch: We can not guarantee for our woodland mulch to be 100% free of plastic and other debris. We phyiscally check the raw material prior to shredding as best we can and then again before we screen the final product but due to the volume its not posiable to capture all the foreign debris.
- Returns – We are unable to accept returns on timber orders. Once the timber has been purchased it cannot be refunded.
