UK Western Red Cedar Scalloped Shingles

Western Red Cedar shingles cut in our own mill using sustainable timber, supplied in equivalent Red Grade. Shingles can be used as a roofing material and cladding. They are perfect for out buildings such as sheds, gazebos, log stores, summer houses or wall cladding. Our shingles are lightweight, aesthetically pleasing and practical. After weathering they will adopt a pleasant silvery grey shade. Cedar is naturally insect & rot resistant requiring no further treatment however natural oils or wood preserver can be used to prolong the life.

Each shingle should be fixed with two nails.

Each bundle will cover 1m2 (above 19 degree pitch) Dimensions are 45cm x 20cm (18″x8″) or 46cm x 15cm (18″x6″) and are supplied in one square metre, conveniently banded packs for easy, long lasting storage. Please call for advice on exposure and pitch.

We make these shingles in either 8mm thickness or 14mm to meet fire treatment regulations (paired with a suitable fire treatment)
